QF systems have been designed specifically for the processing of commodity grade resins used in hi-cavitation molding. Quick-Flo™ systems address the molding challenges associated with hi-cavitation applications and are sold as complete injection halves. Markets served include:
Caps, Closures, Medical Disposables, Packaging and Pharmaceutical.
Thermal Tip (T) QF3/QF5/QF8, Valve Gate (VG) QF5/QF8
The QF nozzle design utilizes a compression fit onto the manifold. The mold retainer and back plates secure the entire system into the injection half.
The proven twin heater technology is integrated directly into the nozzle body and profiled for optimal thermal balance. The nozzle diameter is compact allowing for excellent pitch dimensions, common in high cavity applications.
Heating elements are connected in parallel to a single set of leads from the heaters. If one element burns out, the redundant heater continues seamless operation until routine maintenance can be performed.
Opti-Flo® manifold technology is available to further increase productivity with rheologically controlled cavity-to-cavity balance.
Quick-Flo™ systems have been designed with complete injection half plates for turnkey simplicity and performance.
The QF nozzle types process from <3g up to 375g shot weights.
