Unitized hot runner systems are an alternative to injection halve designs.
Unitized systems take advantage of INCOE®’s DFQ nozzles that thread directly into the manifold, offering a leak proof connection. The systems are supplied fully assembled, pre-wired and tested. Wiring is encased in robust stainless steel channels for added protection during integration into the mold.
Valve gate cylinders mount directly onto the manifold with hydraulic and water lines pre-plumbed to an attached plate where quick connect fittings are located. Installation or removal of the system for routine maintenance can now be accomplished in much less time, increasing machine productivity.
Systems utilize our threaded DFQ nozzles.
6 nozzle types process from <20g up to 9000g shot weights. Nozzles are identified by runner/ channel sized in mm as follows:
